long absence

Blogging is a very infrequent hobby of mine. That will hopefully change with the addition of my new blog: http://teachingideas101.blogspot.com/

A lot seems to have happened since i last blogged, and yet not has much has happened.
We went to the UK for 2 weeks to visit Bryan's family. We had a great time. Our nephew, Patrick, has grown so much since we last saw him. He is now 5 and a half. He is going to be a football star, I'm sure. He knows all the players and their numbers (country and club), he knows which clubs play in which league, and what colour the shirts are for home and away games. WOW! After about 10 minutes of these discussions, my poor brain was tired from trying to keep up. Kids really are incredible. They have such passion. Imagine if we could tap into all their passions and use those passions for teaching. It would be so successful. (I think)

Bryan and I have decided to Give SA a chance. I last blogged that we wanted to leave. Well, we love SA. We are not sure that we are being called to leave, just yet. It seems that we are meant to be here for a bit. We are trying to put it all in God's hands and until we both feel very strongly that God does not want us here, here we will stay.

We have been married 9 months now. The year is flying by. I can't believe that it has been 9 months already. it seems as though it was just the other day that we got engaged, but it was 19 months ago. That is why we need to make every day count. It goes by so quickly, I hate to think of all the days we waste being moody.

Life is for living to the full. We all need to try keep that in mind. If we all lived everyday to its fullest, the world might just be a better place. (In my idealist world at least).

I will have to post some pictures at some stage of the wedding and Bryan and I. I will try do that this weekend.
